Time Calls Christie the 'Elephant in the Room'
Fat joke or just a tiresome GOP pun?
First he was "The Boss." Now after a landslide victory Tuesday Governor Christie is "The Elephant in the Room," according to Time magazine.
A silohuette of Christie's profile appears on the magazine's front page with the headline "The Elephant in the Room," and the title of three stories exploring Christie's defeat of Democrat Barbara Buono and his potential presidential candidacy in 2016.
The magazine cover has been posted all over social media today with many taking issue with the use of the word "elephant," saying its not meant to represent the Republican Party mascot, but offers a commentary on Christie's weight.
