Musharraf's House Arrest May Soon Be Over
Former military leader of Pakistan has been under arrest for more than six months
SLAMABAD — Former Pakistani military ruler Pervez Musharraf may soon see an end to his more-than-six-month house arrest following his return to Pakistan from years of self-imposed exile.
An Islamabad court on Wednesday ordered Musharraf's release on bail in a case involving the killing of a cleric in 2007. The former president has already been granted bail in the three other cases against him.
