NJ Poll: 48% Want Christie to Run for President in 2016

Including 28 percent of Democrats

As New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie heads toward an easy re-election, a new poll shows likely Garden State voters say the Republican should run for president in 2016.

By a 48%-41% margin, likely voters in the Quinnipiac Poll released Tuesday say Christie should seek the White House. That includes 72% of Republicans and 50% of independents, but only 28% of Democrats in the predominantly blue state,
