I remember having a conversation with a park ranger at crystal river, fla about an indian village that had been discovered some miles offshore in about 60 feet of water. I had asked her about rising sea levels and she whispered it to me as if it were a secret. Right.
My father, a metalurgical engineer specializing in the mining end of the business is fond of pointing out that land levels and sea levels are not static, so there is that.
In any case, it has been getting warmer and sea levels have been rising for 50,000 years, since the last ice age peaked.
You mean the world would not be static but for the depredations of man?
The horror, the horror.
Only the total state can save us from ourselves.
