Drug Case Thrown Out After Dashboard Cam Reveals Decorated Cop Planted Evidence
Police union disputes the account, says dashboard cams "distort" the truth
Public defender Mary Fox said a judge's recent decision to throw out evidence in a drug case provides landmark confirmation that St. Louis police sometimes plant evidence on suspects.
Prosecutors insisted it was no such thing, and stood by the word of the decorated officer whose testimony was at issue.
