This is what happens when your president doesn't show up for a major Asian economic summit.
His replacement gets put in the back and off to the side when the team picture is taken.
Secretary of State John Kerry, standing in for President Obama, can be spotted (barely) in the back and to the far right as you look at the photo of delegates to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Bali, Indonesia. (The colorful shirts are an APEC tradition.)
