Michael Bloomberg to Fund Ad Campaign for Cory Booker's NJ Senate Race
One nanny stater helps another?
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg reportedly will spend $1 million to help boost Cory Booker in next week's special Senate election in New Jersey.
Bloomberg, an independent, will start airing ads Monday to help the Democratic mayor of Newark, according to a New York Times report. Booker has been fighting off Republican Steve Lonegan, a conservative activist.
