Boehner: No "Clean" Debt Limit Increase From House
Government needs to learn to live within its means
U.S. House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner said on Sunday that there is "no way" Republican lawmakers will agree to a measure to raise the nation's debt ceiling unless it includes conditions to rein in deficit spending.
Pressed on the ABC news program "This Week" on whether the Republican-led House would pass a "clean" debt ceiling increase that included no conditions, Boehner replied: "I told the president, there's no way we're going to pass one."

"Clean" = new code for 'Give Obo whatever he wants'.
All these clean debt ceiling increases is going to lead to one dirty bond market implosion.

How about some clean spending cuts instead? Really clean, like surgically clean cuts to the budget. So clean in fact that all members of congress will need to use antimicrobial soap and put on scrubs before they vote for it.
You mean like 50% across the board?
Like using Friedman's negative income tax to gut all federal social program departments & erase all nanny-state regulations?
Or, like getting half a bil in debt instead of a tril next year?
Hmmm... I wonder which one of these options is most likely to be achieved?
