Fugitive Witness in Hernandez Case Caught
Claimed he was shot in the face by football player
A fugitive with ties to former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez was taken into custody in Connecticut on Friday, authorities said.
Alexander Bradley, 31, of East Hartford was found at a home in Hartford, the U.S. Marshal's Service said. He was scheduled to appear Friday afternoon in Hartford Superior Court.
He was charged with criminal violation of a protective order and interfering with police and held on a $50,000 bond. Authorities said he was found in the home of a woman who had a protective order against him.
Bradley has filed a lawsuit against Hernandez, asserting he was shot in the face by the former player in February as they were driving in Florida after arguing in a Miami strip club.
