Latest Drug Fearmongering From Maryland State Police: "Dabbing" Butane Hash Oil

The crack of marijuana! Panic!

A drug that is gaining popularity on the West Coast is moving eastward and is expected to become more of a threat in Maryland, according to a state law enforcement official.

That drug, butane hash oil, is such a concentrated form of marijuana that users have been known to pass out while ingesting it, police said.

I can't clutch my pearls hard enough! Dabbing is so dangerous that every dispensary in Colorado sells the equipment, the butane fuel, AND the "wax", aka hash oil concentrate. The horrors!

Dabbing actually can be dangerous if you're drunk and/or an idiot, considering you use a blow torch to heat up the nail. I can easily see people who aren't careful burning themselves or starting a fire. Not that a few people's lack of common sense is a reason to ban it for everyone.
