Nationals Game Postponed over Naval Yard Shooting
Teams will play two games Tuesday
The Washington Nationals postponed their Monday night game against the Atlanta Braves due to the shooting that killed 12 at the nearby Naval Sea Systems command headquarters.
The shooting, which began around 8:20 a.m. ET, resulted in the death of at least one gunman, with more at large. The resulting police activity paralyzed much of the area around Nationals Park.
The teams will play a split doubleheader on Tuesday, with games at 1:05 and 7:05 p.m. ET, according to the Nationals.
