Cameron Defends Decision To Recall Parliament For Syria Vote

House of Commons voted against the principle of military action against the Assad regime

David Cameron, who has arrived in Russia for the G20 summit of world leaders, has defended his decision to recall Parliament to vote on possible UK military action over Syria.

International leaders have arrived in St Petersburg for the meeting, where Syria was expected to dominate the negotiations.
