Newark Mayoral Candidate to Business Owners: "I Don't Have Horns"
No, your anti-business policies just scare them
Ras Baraka has been called many things: poet, activist, politician, radical.
Last week he tried on a new hat that, if he wears it well, could prove decisive in the South Ward councilman's bid to become mayor of Newark: Business leader.
"They are an intricate part of what we want to do in the city," Baraka said of the city's business community. "When we say we want people to believe in Newark that means them, too."
