WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 (UPI) — U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., says he may subpoena Treasury Department documents on Internal Revenue Service implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said in a letter to Treasury Secretary Jack Lew Thursday the IRS has failed to answer the committee's questions on its handling of tax subsidies in the healthcare reform law, designed to help low-income families cover the cost of premiums, The Hill reported.
