Milwaukee Cop Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault, Stalking
Following an internal affairs investigation
A Milwaukee police sergeant has been arrested by his own department following an Internal Affairs investigation, a police official said Thursday.
Sgt. Alex Lopez, a 16-year veteran of the Milwaukee Police Department assigned to District 2, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of sexual assault and stalking, Inspector William Jessup said in a news release. The female victim had a past relationship with Lopez.
