John Bolton Says it's Time To Cause Putin Pain
Says the Russian president's recent actions concerning Edward Snowden have done "real damage"
It's time to cause Vladimir Putin some pain, former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton said Wednesday night.
Russia's recent actions surrounding NSA leaker Edward Snowden are doing "real damage," Bolton said, so it's time to return the favor.
"I think in order to focus Putin's thinking, we need to do things that cause him pain as well," Bolton said to Greta Van Susteren on Fox News. "And while I know that not having a chance to have a bilateral meeting with his buddy Barack Obama will cause Putin to lose sleep, it's not damaging Russian interests."

"...I know that not having a chance to have a bilateral meeting with his buddy Barack Obama will cause Putin to lose sleep..."
Did we need any more proof that Bolton is a complete idiot? The only way Putin is losing sleep over this is if he's laughing so hard he can't fall asleep!
This part was proof enough:
Russia's recent actions surrounding NSA leaker Edward Snowden are doing "real damage," Bolton said,
Even if you accept that Snowden "damaged" US interests, that damage has already been done.
Whatever Putin does at this point makes no difference, other than preventing the CIA/NSA from enhanced interrogating questioning Snowden.
It takes Bolton and Obama to make Putin sympathetic, but they manage.
