Obama May Skip Summit With Putin
Because of NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden being granted temporary asylum
WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama may spurn a summit with President Vladimir Putin after Russia granted asylum to U.S. secrets leaker Edward Snowden, the White House said.
"We are evaluating the utility of a summit in light of this and other issues," White House spokesman Jay Carney said.
