20-Year-Old Woman Given Life Without Parole for Planning Murder of Father, Attempted Murder of Mother

Re-sentenced because of U.S. Supreme Court ruled it was unconstitutional to sentence people who were juveniles when they committed their crimes to mandatory life sentences

A 20-year-old Yale woman will remain in prison for the rest of her life without a chance for parole for her role in planning the murder of her father and attempted murder of her mother.

Circuit Judge Daniel Kelly said Tia Skinner doesn't deserve the opportunity for parole during her sentencing this morning.
