Eliot Spitzer Faces His Former Madam in Race for NYC Comptroller
Kristin Davis is running as a Libertarian
Gracie Mansion isn't the only contested hotspot for political redemption in New York City this year.
The day after former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer announced his campaign for city comptroller, he was issued a direct challenge for the post by a woman who says she was the madam who supplied him with escorts.
Self-described "ex-madam" Kristin Davis used Spitzer's campaign to once again announce her already-declared candidacy for comptroller on Monday.
"Eliot Spitzer broke state and federal laws in his use of prostitutes and paid no penalty; I broke the law and paid my debt to society," Davis, who served four months in prison, said in a statement. "There cannot be two standards of justice, one for the average citizen and another for the political and social elite."

As far as prison time goes, I say pimps/madams should do more time than johns, and johns should do as much if not more time than prostitutes. Interesting "holier than thou" from her. Apparently being a madam doesn't sound as bad as being a pimp.
Clearly she should win. She was able to provide a service while he was only capable of purchasing it.
New York politics are as bad as Illinois. Spitzer is an absolute piece of shit. That's not a surprise. However, EVERYONE KNOWS he's a piece of shit and yet, he could potentially win. It's disgusting.

Marion Barry is trying to figure out a way to get in on this action.
I actually voted for Kristen Davis for Governor.
The john is running against the madam for state comptroller.
How in the heck am I supposed to write fiction?
