The US vice-president has talked to Ecuador's leader by phone about fugitive ex-CIA analyst Edward Snowden's bid for asylum.

    What was his advice on self defense? Take your (presumably Holland and Holland or Purdey) double barreled shotgun and fire it randomly in the air?

    Putin basically told Big O to FOAD.
    Ecuador, a basket case country, says the same thing.
    Afghanistan, ditto.
