The Government Tries to Plug a Leak
42 years ago today.
Forty-two years ago today, as The New York Times was aggravating the government by publishing the Pentagon Papers, President Richard Nixon, Attorney General John Mitchell, and National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger discussed how to deal with the newspaper:

Replace the "The Times" with "Fox News" and you have today's liberal rhetoric.
God bless you guys.
Those were the days.
History always repeats itself! Now it Obama, not Nixon. Same stuff, different day.
It is mostly REPUBLICANS and CONSERVATIVES (not libertarians) that complain about leeks. They like to call those Whistle-blowers who identify individuals in authority that do BAD STUFF as Traitors.
REPUBLICANS and CONSERVATIVES are more trusting than Liberals or Libertarians when it comes to the Police/GOvernment/War/The Church/Their Mother/Rush and Shawn/etc.
I think there's a fundamental question that needs to be asked. Is it OK to report government officials/presidents/generals/police officers when they are corrupt/abusive/etc?
I SAY YES!!!
THANKS FOR POINTING THAT OUT IN CAPS, OTHERWISE WE MIGHT HAVE MISSED YOUR POINT!!!11!!1!ELEVENTY!
