Gunmen in Pakistan Kill Polio Worker
Wound another
Officials in northwest Pakistan say gunmen have opened fire on a female polio vaccination team, killing one woman and wounding the other.
The women came under attack Tuesday in Kaga Wala village.
The French news agency reports the attack came on the first day of a three-day campaign meant for areas on the outskirts of Peshawar.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The Taliban has previously condemned polio campaigns as a cover for spying.
