CLEVELAND, May 10 (UPI) -- An Ohio prosecutor said he may seek the death penalty for Ariel Castro, accused of raping three enslaved women in his home and forcing them to miscarry.

Cuyahoga County prosecutor Timothy McGinty said the miscarriages, which at least one of the women described to police, could be death-penalty grounds.

Castro, a 52-year-old former bus driver, allegedly enticed the women off the street with offers of a ride home, authorities said.
