Ann Coulter Joke About Killing McCain's Daughter Prompts Backlash

Too much for Fox

|

Ann Coulter is in trouble for something she said. Nothing new, right?

Well, Coulter may have taken it too far when she made a joke about murdering Meghan McCain. The daughter of U.S. senator John McCain and Cindy Hensley McCain wasn't impressed with Coulter's controversial statement.

In a now-deleted blog post from Fox, Coulter writes, "MSNBC's Martin Bashir suggested that Republican senators need to have a member of their families killed for them to support the Democrats' gun proposals. (Let's start with Meghan McCain!)."

  1. Not that Coulter needs defending, but note that it is her retort to Bashir, and not Bashir’s comment itself, that drew outrage.

    1. Fuck that bastard with the shiny round end of a Colt.

  2. Does Bashir complain about the armed men who are paid to keep the crazies out at CNN who might want to confront him? Is there a single mass media personality yelling for gun control who has not benefitted from private protection services either on studio lots or in their personal hire?

  3. In the article, “Really, Coulter? It’s obvious Bashir was making a rhetorical statement about gun control.”

and it’s obvious Coulter was making a joke about Bashir’s tasteless rhetorical statement about gun control. Really, Coulter? You think we’ll let you get away with that?
