Gunman Holding Firefighters Hostage in Georgia

SUWANEE, Ga. — A gunman has barricaded himself inside a home here and is holding five Gwinnett County firefighters hostage, authorities say.

The firefighters responded to a medical call at the home Wednesday, said Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Edwin Ritter, WXIA-TV reported. Police are unsure of the gunman's motive.

Two nearby schools are closed for spring break.
