Businesses Donating Police Cruisers, Ambulances to Destitute Detroit as Emergency Manager Takes Over

Some people really protesting that the municipal government that drove Detroit to the ground isn't totally in charge anymore.

U.S. automakers joined other Michigan businesses on Monday in donating $8 million for new ambulances and police cars to Detroit as state-appointed emergency manager Kevyn Orr took over running the destitute city.
