NJ State Senator Barbara Buono Looking to Take on Gov. Christie in Gubernatorial Election
Polls indicate she has some work to do
One Democrat after another took a look at running against New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie this year and passed.
And then there is Barbara Buono.
"People will say to me, 'It takes such courage to run.' How could I not run?" she told the Daily News.
New Jersey, she insists, is in bad shape. "I have people coming into my Senate office in tears," she said. "For me, it's about creating the same opportunities that I had."
