Bill Seeks to Calculate True Costs of Iraq, Afghan Wars
Introduced by Democratic congressman from Iowa
U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley, D-Iowa, has introduced bipartisan legislation in an effort to determine the true cost of U.S. military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
One day ahead of the 10th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, Braley joined Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C., in introducing legislation that requires a full accounting of the human and financial costs of the wars.
