Pakistani President: Conspiracies to Delay Elections Will Be Thwarted

President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday said all conspiracies to delay the elections would be foiled and the caretaker set-up formed in accordance with the Constitution. He said the alliance between the PPP‚ MQM‚ and ANP would be strengthened as it had blocked the way of non-state actors.
He was speaking after laying the foundation stone of 44-kilolmetre-long Garho-Shah Bandar Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Expressway in Thatta and other development projects.
