Two Tibetan Teenagers Dead After Latest Self-Immolations
More than 100 Tibetans have self-immolated since 2009 in protest against Chinese rule
A Tibetan rights group says two teenagers have died after setting themselves on fire in a Tibetan area of China, the latest in a series of self-immolation protests against Chinese rule.
Britain-based Free Tibet said in a statement the double self-immolation occurred late Tuesday in Ngaba, or Aba in Chinese. A 17-year-old boy identified as Rinchen and an 18-year-old named Sonam Dhargye, died at the scene.
