Disney Confirms Stand Alone Star Wars Films
Empire Strikes Back, X-Men: First Class writers attached to direct
J.J. Abrams is living the geek dream, standing at the helm of two of science fiction's greatest franchises: "Star Trek" and "Star Wars." But he won't be the only one at the helm of a "Star Wars" movie, according to new comments made by Disney's own Bob Iger.
The Walt Disney Company chairman and CEO confirmed on Tuesday that there are indeed films in development, in addition to the already announced trilogy of new "Star Wars" entries beginning with Abrams' "Episode VII."
