Nebraska Lt. Gov. Resigns After Calls to Women Revealed
Married man made apparently thousands of late-night calls to women on state-issued cell phone
LINCOLN — Lt. Gov. Rick Sheehy resigned his post abruptly Saturday after questions were raised by The World-Herald about improper cell phone calls to four women, other than his wife, during the past four years.
An investigation by The World-Herald discovered that Sheehy made about 2,000 late-night telephone calls to the women on his state-issued cell phone, many of them long conversations held in the wee hours of the night.

Either he’s a retard or he wanted to get caught, 2000 calls on a government cell phone and all.
That would appear to be the case.
Can you hear me now?
This is what is commonly known as “getting lazy.”
Gentlemen, don’t get lazy.
At least the guy has enough character to resign. We’ve seen other politicians (some who did MUCH worse) claim they were hiking on the Appalachian Trail, or even send his own wife out to lie for him trying to cover his sorry ass.
I love the sly condemnation of “other than his wife”.
That’s classic snark, that is.
