Brickbat: Hamming It Up
Montclair State University officials ordered Joseph Aziz not to talk about a fellow student on social media sites after he commented on a YouTube video that the woman's legs looked like a pair of bleached hams. But he mentioned the incident and the woman's name on Facebook, and the university suspended him for a semester. After media picked up the story, and the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education came to Aziz's defense, the university overturned the suspension.

So you're not allowed to pork fun at your fellow students now? Montclair State University officials glazed over the fact that unpopular speech is the only speech needing protection. But it's good that Aziz is bacon his regular class schedule.
"A man who could make so vile a pun would not scruple to pick a pocket." - John Dennis
I'm sure it will behoove someone to complain about your puns, but please ignore her, or his, whining.
Forget it, guys. He's one of those bitter pun clingers.
Assault puns?
You can tell by the humor suppressor.
Military-style assault puns. Don't worry, they'll be banned soon.
TURBO PUNS

This is sadly yet another consequence of the typical university's bloated bureaucracy that has nothing better to do than to police its students' personal lives. The cure for this assault on liberty is to trim the fat from the bureaucracy. Only when a university can be run as lean as a private corporation will we see its true capabilities.
Never really did care for ham.

neither did this guy, from the sound of it.
Anonbot, you know we are all waiting for you to post in response to one of our comments. Come on, don't be shy
Maybe if this was about a couple of pre teens.
I said that once to a woman on a dating site. "Your arm looks like someone tattooed a ham. No one wants to see a closeup of that"
No 3rd date, eh?
I didn't know Michelle Obama was on dating sites.
Your arm looks like something hanging in a kosher deli.
Truth is the best defense. I think we need to see these albino gams for ourselves.
OT: Saw The Waterboys last week, playing the Yeats album. And sure enough, at one point the phrase "Damn swan, why u be rapin' on me" popped into my head and I started giggling
If only The Waterboys would release a rap version of the Yeats album, the circle would be complete.
the woman's legs looked like a pair of bleached hams
John would fuck her.
Bleached ham...mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Why don't you start a circumcision debate while you're at it?
Circumcision is for dickheads.
Are you saying John needs to grow some skin?
That is just unbelievable sarcasmic. I have never seen someone come up with such a zinger on here. Did you think hard before posting that? Had you planned it for days waiting for just the right moment to spring it on us.
Golf clap!!!
Just wait for the links! Muahahahahaha!
I bet you are thinking hard for those. Maybe you will link to a fat woman and claim I would fuck her. I don't know how you keep up us all guessing like this.
1. Progressivism.
2. Diversity of thought, freedom of expression, individual liberty.
Pick one.
The university issued Aziz a "no-contact" order, forbidding him from speaking to the woman or talking about her on social media sites. A few weeks later, Aziz was suspended for one semester after he mentioned the woman's name
He should have written "Heached Blams" rather than using her name.
Suspension overturning aside, how is this "order" legal? Must students abide by whatever "the university", whatever *that* is, dictates?
