Former Transportation Security Administration agent John W. Irwin has pleaded guilty to stealing $520 from a passenger at Norfolk International Airport. The passenger claimed he had a medical condition that would not allow him to go through the machine and asked to be patted down. TSA agents then selected the man for addtional screening in a private room. Irwin used that opportunity to hide cash the man had placed in a plastic bin. Irwin said he did it because the man "had given my fellow employees a hard time."

So, this seems like it's really going to be a crappy Superbowl this year. I guess I will pull for the 49ers...well against the Ex-Browns. I kind of feel crappy for putting my vacation around the SB now (I didn't want to watch it at 0130 again. Well maybe the week in France before I go to the states will make me enjoy it more. But I doubt it.

Aw, bullshit. First off, the Browns are still in Cleveland- Modell was in a different universe of class compared to Irsay (may his name be pissed on by diabetic camels).

Second, these were clearly the two best teams in the NFL- they positioned themselves to win their divisions (no wild cards here), and following player adjustments (QB at SF, OL for B'more), took themselves to a different level.

This is going to be a GREAT Superbowl.

I don't know, I think the teams match up too well, then again I haven't been able to watch very much football at all this year (probably 6 or 7 games in total). But I don't have a rooting interest in either team really, for or against. I hope you're right.

I'm in the unfortunate/fortunate position of being an avid, long-time fan of both teams. Whatever happens, I'll be happy/sad. You're right, the teams match up well, both really well-balanced and well-coached. That's why I think it could be a really great final game.

The Ravens side of me thanks the various gods that Jim Caldwell replaced Cam Cameron. The 49ers side of me thinks they'd be in the same place with Alex Smith still in, but I can't deny that Kaep is more exciting to watch.

Irsay left Baltimore in the middle of the night because the State of Maryland threatened to take his team by eminent domain. He had to move his private property so that in the morning, there would be nothing there for the State to take.

That sounds painful; I just checked my copy of Grey's Anatomy (and NOT that awful teevee show), and there is no organ named "addtional" to be found. No weird diseases with that name either.
