Brickbat: Write This Down
Police evacuated Northampton High School in Massachusetts after officials discovered a threatening note in one of the bathrooms. A few days later, cops joined with school officials to ask students to sign a statement that they took such threats seriously. Now, the police say they will try to match the handwriting on those statements to that on the note.

Based on that, they narrowed the suspect down to the following students:
I.P. Freeley
Peter Guzinya
Eric Cartman
Amanda Huggenkiss
Hitler Q. Poindexter
Penis Hurtz
Phuk Yu
Did Seemore Butts skip school that day?
Hugh Jass
Al Coholic
Oliver Klozoff
Mike Rotch
Stop this foolishness. Mike Hunt was responsible
Cravon Moorehead begs to differ.
Man, that guy is responsible for everything!
What about Jack Meof
The name is properly spelt "Jack N. Augh".
Max Power
Phew, this plan would have never worked if those kids had rights.
cops + school officials = sleazebags.
You need to add overprotective parents to that equation. Just read some of the comments to that story.
They're doing this because fuck you, that's why.
This never would have happened at Encyclopedia Brown's school.
Yep, Bugs Meany would have already pummeled him before the note was discovered and pinned it on Sally Kimball.
Who would win in a fight between Encyclopedia Brown and the 21 Jump St. guys?
From the TV show, I haven't seen the movie.
Pre or post Richard Grieco?
Uh, pre. Post is obviously no contest.
Then the Encyclpaedic One gets the nod, along with junior partner, Sally Kimball.

Yeah, I think you're right. He just wants it more.

Once again, Pedo-Bot, your self-awareness underwhelms.
Perhaps Pedo-Bot is the one who wrote the threatening note.
See kids, that's why you never trust authority. It's good to see they're teaching them this lesson at a young age.
Oh please, this is Northampton. Those kids are going to grow up to be fine boot lickers.
We used to call it "North Tampon". But that was a simpler, more hateful time.
On an unrelated note, Gov. Jerry Brown touts Amtrak as something "good" that government "does".

I have never taken this man seriously and I don't think I ever will.
Why doesn't he offer to take over the California operations of Amtrak?
That would have been a terrific question if we only had a group of people who made it their business to seek information from public figures, and make said information known to the people at large.
What would we call such a thing?
They should go with group punishment. Suspend everybody for a week. Dare I say that the teacher's union will be fine with it?
Pat McGroin and Heywood Djblomi must have managed to skate by this one.
Also, Ben Dover and Phil McAvity were in the showers at the time.
I blame Phil McKracken.
along with Wilma Fingerdoo
Pat Magroin is, as always, above reproach.
I blame the two gay Irish exchange students Michael Fitzpatrick and Patrick Fitzmichael.
As I understand it, the parents of any kid with mental or physical health issues or a record with DPS can request a hearing before any of their kid's schoolwork or information can be shared with an outside agency, including the police, unless they have a warrant. The school giving anything to the police violates those kids' rights by statute and should result in criminal prosecution of the school administrators.
Now, I heard that on a Yahoo article I read on this, but it was in the article by a civil rights lawyer from Boston and he was pretty confident in his assessment. Is RC Dean on here to set the record straight?
Walter Sobchak: Is this your homework, Larry? Is this your homework, Larry?
The Dude: Look, man...
Walter Sobchak: Dude, please? Is this your homework, Larry?
The Dude: Just ask him about the car.
Walter Sobchak: Is this yours, Larry? Is this your homework, Larry?
The Dude: Is that your car out front?
Walter Sobchak: Is this your homework, Larry?
The Dude: We know it's his fucking homework! Where's the fucking money, you little brat?
Walter Sobchak: Look, Larry. Have you ever heard of Vietnam?
The Dude: Oh, for Christ's sake, Walter...
Walter Sobchak: You're entering a world of pain, son. We know that this is your homework. We know that you stole a car.
The Dude: And the fucking money.
Walter Sobchak: And the fucking money. And, we know that this is your homework.
The Dude: We're going to cut your dick off, Larry.
Walter Sobchak: You're killing your father, Larry!

Best movie ever?
I've never seen the first part of that movie. I always seem to find it on at the halfway mark.
They're nihilists Donny.
What if they didn't take such threats seriously? WE had one or two bomb threats when I was in HS and I know I didn't take it seriously at all. Are bomb threats ever real?
This is probably the best lesson they will learn all year: the authorities will screw you over every chance they get, and only a fool will trust their word.
Silly questions but...did they ask the teachers and administration officials with access to provide a handwriting sample? And if not , why? ("fuck you, that's why" will not suffice)

Unless the bomb threat was written in cursive, it's going to be very hard to match the handwriting.
At least in Donnie Darko they forced the kids to write the same words that were found burned into the ground next to the decapitated bulldog.
Remember though, people are fundamentally nice sohbet
