Albright Defends Hagel on Israel
Calls anti-Israel accusations "ridiculous"
Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said in an interview set to air Friday that it's "ridiculous" for Republicans to say Chuck Hagel — the former senator President Barack Obama nominated for Secretary of Defense — is anti-Israel.
Republicans, including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), have criticized Hagel for statements he has made regarding Israel. It's unwarranted, Albright told Bloomberg TV's "Political Capital with Al Hunt" in an interview airing tonight at 9 p.m.
