Poll Shows Cory Booker Crushing in Senate Race
Double-digit lead over Democrat incumbent
Democratic Newark Mayor Cory Booker trounces Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) in a contest for the Senate, according to a new poll on Thursday.
Forty-two percent of Democratic voters polled want Booker over Lautenberg, while just 20 percent prefer Lautenberg, according to the Fairleigh Dickinson University survey. Seventeen percent want someone else and 21 percent are unsure.
