Pakistan Frees Taliban Prisoners
Include former justice minister for the Afghan Taliban
Pakistan has freed Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, former justice minister for the Afghan Taliban, and three other Taliban prisoners.
Mullah Turabi was one of the most prominent members of the regime before it was ousted in late 2001. He was captured in Karachi seven years ago
The BBC reports he was renowned for sitting outside the ministry building in Kabul, keeping watch on passing crowds to see that dress codes were adhered to.
