Blogger Responds to NY Paper Publishing List of Gun Owners' Addresses by Publishing Newspaper Staff's Addresses
Tit for tat of sorts
Blogger Christopher Fountain retaliated against a New York newspaper, which recently published the addresses of local gun owners, by publishing the addresses and phone numbers of the newspaper's staff.
The Journal News published the names and addresses of legal gun owners in Westchester and Rockland counties. The paper has been criticized for allegedly putting people in danger.

the threat to gun owners in this case was due to the fact that their homes might be targeted for burglary by those who might want to obtain guns. It would have been more appropriate to publish the addresses of the journalists with an estimation of their salaries or how much nice stuff they have in their home.
this would affect the editors more than the writers, and would have a stronger affect on those who make the decisions of what to print in the first place.
I spotted that article from the Rockland County Times via Breitbart.com who mentionned then the NY Paper in question....hired armed guards!

I guess the "Do what I said, not as I do" motto fit perfectly with them.
