Oregon Secession Petition Gains Over 12,000 Signatures

Not just red states are appalled by D.C.

PORTLAND – Apparently unhappy with the election results, more than 12,000 Oregonians have joined a petition drive to secede from the nation.

Calling the federal government "tyrannical," the petitioners want the state to be able to vote on leaving the union – but with the chance to come back if "the Federal Government was no longer imposing on the Constitution."
