Is that painted in a school?

  2. CE   13 years ago

Couldn't they at least cover that election poster/mural with a sheet? Or maybe some paint?

    1. AlmightyJB   13 years ago

I don't get how it's legal for them not to do that. Sure the feds will be right on that.

      1. Brutus   13 years ago

Pfffffttt....hahahahaha!! Yeah, Eric and the boys'll get right on it.

    2. shamalam   13 years ago

A white sheet? Why don't you just admit you are a RACIST!

  3. Fist of Etiquette   13 years ago

Dear Leader looks pretty presidential on that wall, although I don't think He should have been licking that ice cream cone while getting His mural painted.

    1. DK   13 years ago

Maybe Chris Matthews should leave some of his tingle on that ice cream cone. NTTAWWT.

  4. DJF   13 years ago

Yes, but nobody in the picture is wearing a T shirt with a message so its OK.

  5. The Immaculate Trouser   13 years ago

Wow, Morgan Freeman looks really weird with a soul patch.

  6. Groovus Maximus   13 years ago

    Lenin would be proud.

  7. Scruffy Nerfherder   13 years ago

It's Philadelphia people. Expect the outrageous and ridiculous.

  8. Trespassers W   13 years ago

    How is that legal?

    1. AlmightyJB   13 years ago

That's not a picture of Obama the candidate, it's a picture of Obama the president silly.

      1. Rich   13 years ago

*Please* let a lawsuit be filed to tie up the results.

  9. AlmightyJB   13 years ago

Saw that the Panthers were back as well. Not sure if they're sporting the latest in Billy Club accessories again this time.

    1. Fatty Bolger   13 years ago

Apparently not, from what I've seen.

      1. Fatty Bolger   13 years ago

Seen reported, that is. I'm not in Philadelphia, thankfully.

  10. Episiarch   13 years ago

As absurd as that is, does anyone think it would actually get anyone to change their vote? So who really gives a shit.

    1. Scruffy Nerfherder   13 years ago

      Internet commenters care dammit!

You unfeeling bastard. I cried when I cast my vote away this morning.

    2. Fist of Etiquette   13 years ago

Oh please. You walk into that whatever the fuck that place is and see that there? You would be humping Obama's name selection on the voting machine, if not the wall painting itself.

    3. AlmightyJB   13 years ago

There are some pretty stupid people out there. Quite a few actually.

  11. Pro Libertate   13 years ago

    Ye gods.

  12. Caleb Turberville   13 years ago

"Barack Hussein Obama. MMM. MMM. MMM."

  13. R C Dean   13 years ago

Clearly, the Philly Dems have some kind of master plan for committing fraud. Else why would there be a coordinated eviction of Republican watchers.

They had to know it wouldn't stand, so whatever they were planning had to be something they could do in a few hours, at most.

I'm thinking they took their window of opportunity here to stuff the ballot boxes. It will be interesting to see if an unexpectedly (!) high number of "registered" "voters" "voted" in those precincts.

But that, of course, would require media investigations and reporting that might embarrass the Dems, so I doubt we'll ever know.

    1. Fatty Bolger   13 years ago

Hard to see what else could be behind it, besides fraud.

    2. Doktor Kapitalism   13 years ago

What I don't get is election fraud is safe states and districts. Is Romney somehow going to eek out a win in Illinois is they don't stuff those Chicago ballot boxes?

      1. protefeed   13 years ago

There are other races besides Prez and congress. And PA isn't a total slamdunk for Obama.

    3. protefeed   13 years ago

It's pretty easy to commit fraud if no poll watchers are in place before the polls open. I was a poll watcher at a precinct, and one of the things I observed before the polls opened was the person running the precinct opening up the voting machines to show there were no voted ballots inside before voting started.

This guy's legacy is going to be curing millions of people that are constipated. That picture is giving me the shits.

  15. Anonymous Coward   13 years ago

Damn server lag. This sort of shit didn't happen when Lucy Steigerwald was here.

    1. Doktor Kapitalism   13 years ago

      Drink?

  16. Ayn Random Variation   13 years ago

My power just came on. Today I learned that Obama cut the deficit and has created millions of jobs. I have heard that Slick Willy is going around singing the praises of honesty.
Clearly, Earth has entered into some type of temporal vortex and is an alternate universe and I haven't heard about it yet.
    Please advise.

    1. Fladnag the Yarg   13 years ago

Fear not Ayn, the worm hole will return you to one of two identical versions of hell by the end of the night.

    2. Bobarian   13 years ago

Didn't you notice that the waters had receded as well and global climate change was getting better...

    3. Fatty Bolger   13 years ago

When I went to vote I heard Obama talking on the radio to Ryan Seacrest. He said we should vote for him because when he took over we were in two wars and the economy was shitty, and look at us now. Which is funny, because I could swear that one of the wars was over when he took over, the other he escalated, and a third little war he started all on his own, and it seems to me that the economy is still pretty shitty. Oh, he also said that he will blow up the education bubble even more by increasing student loans. So there's that.

  17. 0x90   13 years ago

But what about all the Romney murals Reason isn't writing about?

  18. T o n y   13 years ago

FOX News told me one Black Panther is gonna steal the whole election.

Election Judge Wears Obama Cap While Checking in Voters in Obama's Chicago Ward.

"The voter who took the photo says: 'Woman in front of me also given an extra ballot.'"

  22. GILMORE   13 years ago

Teddy Pendergrass looks old in that painting.

  23. db   13 years ago

To me it looks like the artist drew Obama turning away from a crowd shouting "CHANGE!" while whispering only of "hope."
