Marriage initiatives currently looking good for gay couples
Legalization winning in Maine, Maryland, ban losing in Minnesota
In Maine, legalizing gay marriage is ahead in the vote 53 to 46 percent with 14.2 percent reporting.
In Maryland, legalizing gay marriage is ahead in the vote 59 percent to 40 percent with 30.6 percent reporting.
In Minnesota, an initiative to ban recognition of gay marriage is failing 56 percent to 41 percent with 6.8 percent reporting.
