Obama Camp Downplays Poll Showing Eroding Advantage With Women

Poll skepticism abounds, this year

RICHMOND, Va. -- Count President Obama's campaign among the growing legion of poll skeptics.

Obama's campaign press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters aboard Air Force One that the president's team puts no stock in the Associated Press's poll, released Thursday, that shows Obama tied with Mitt Romney among both male and female voters.

Asked if the campaign is concerned about the poll's findings indicate Obama's outreach to women is not breaking through, Psaki issued a curt, "No."
