Unless he’s planning on changing parties, his political career is toast.
News of Colin Powell’s endorsement of 4 more years of economic disaster through the re-election of Obama raises many questions about the dear general. When our soldiers were coming down with various ailments from their participation in our various desert wars, Powell contended that it was perhaps psychosomatic.
Despite mounting evidence that exposure to chemical agents and vaccinations were related to “Gulf War Syndrome”, Powell and Hillary Clinton summarily dismissed those allegations.
As of July 27, when our national debt was “only” $14.5 trillion, our debt was identified as the number-one threat to our national security by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen. Today that number is closer to 16.2 trillion and by October of 2016 it will be between 18.3 and 20.2 trillion, thanks to Obama. Although I can appreciate Powell’s desire for hope and change in 2008, Powell’s choice to take the same economic road to disaster would indicate that he is just racially partial to Barack Hussein Obama II! But then again Collin’s lack of concern about our “Gulf War Syndrome” casualties demonstrates a compromise of moral fiber in the first place!
