Amarillo, Texas Sued by Family of Man Shot to Death by Police
The city is seeking limited government immunity
One federal lawsuit alleging civil rights violations based on deadly use of force by Amarillo police might be ending, but another is in its early stages.
Attorneys representing the family of Claudio Trujillo, who was shot to death in January 2011, and the city of Amarillo and four police officers filed a status report Monday saying they have reached a settlement.
