Nonagenarian Mayor Steals $200,000 from Town, Quits
She's been mayor of a small town in Alabama for 30 years
A 91-year-old woman has admitted stealing over $200,000 from the town in south Alabama where she has been mayor for more than 30 years.
Mary Hixon, mayor of River Falls, pleaded guilty to theft on Thursday and resigned from the position she has held for three decades.
