Anti-U.S. Protests in Kabul
Hundreds protesting outside U.S. base
HUNDREDS of people in Afghanistan have burned cars and thrown rocks at a US military base as a demonstration against a film that ridicules the Prophet Mohammed turned violent in the capital.
Protesters burned shipping containers and tires on Jalalabad road, a main thoroughfare of Kabul, as men grabbed rocks from the roadside and lobbed them at the US military base Camp Phoenix on Monday, the fourth day of protests in Afghanistan against the film.
