A Kansas man behind a challenge to President Obama's place on the state ballot in November has dropped his complaint about his citizenship, saying the "animosity and intimidation" got to be too much.

Joe Montgomery, a resident of Manhattan, Kans., had argued that Obama's father's dual British and Kenyan citizenship makes the current Commander-in-Chief ineligible to be President, the Topeka Capital-Journal said.
