Netanyahu Urges International Community to Deal with Iranian Threat
Says Israel will act alone if it has to
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ramped up on Tuesday threats to attack Iran, saying if world powers refused to set a red line for Tehran's nuclear programme, they could not demand that Israel hold its fire.

I'm as pro-Israel as the next guy, but we need to stop perpetuating this myth created by the neocons and the Christian Right that somehow every threat to Israel is automatically a threat to the United States and that we should put our soldiers in harm's way every time a Muslim country starts mouthing off. Israel has demonstrated time and again in its 64-year history that they are more than capable of protecting themselves without U.S. and U.N. help or approval. When or if Iran becomes a genuine threat to Israel's security thae Iranians are going to get their asses seriously kicked by Israel alone.
