Would you have liked to have been their when democrats collectively had that 'ah ha!' moment and realized that soldiers are government workers too and thus make a fine example to uphold against the private sector. I've been getting that vibe from them for several years now, but I don't know when it started.

Maybe when Ron, uhm, handsome late actor dude, can't think of his last name, I keep hearing 'Jeremy' in my head, shit, anyway, when he was still a democrat and at the '93 inauguration he recalled having a good time with fellow poglodytes and then seeing military uniforms and jets flying overhead and this made him angry, until he realized the democrats won the election and the planes were now theirs. Seriously, that was his thought process. It embarrassed him later on, but that is really how he thought at the time. Like these people.

    I have no problem with Obama offing Osama, but 1) the incessant trumpeting of it is unseemly, 2) Obama didn't really "do" it, and 3) and assumes that it wouldn't have happened if McCain or whoever had been in office. I think Obama has honestly deluded himself into thinking he's found some trick where he can just print free money and everything is solved. He does appear to believe his own horseshit.
